FOR NEUROFEEDBACK PRACTITIONERS
Add a PEMF Service Without Changing Your Neurofeedback Protocol
Can a neurofeedback practice add BioRegulation Therapy?
Yes. BioRegulation Therapy is pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, not neurofeedback. It measures nothing, provides no EEG feedback, and runs no training protocol, so it does not interact with your neurofeedback system, your assessment process, or your training decisions. Practitioners offer it as a separate service, scheduled before, after, or independently of a neurofeedback appointment. The practitioner system is the Nesta Pro, a portable open-loop PEMF device with 48 practitioner-editable programs and a one-hour live onboarding consultation.
Separate modality · Flexible scheduling · One-hour live onboarding
A complement to your work, not a replacement for it.
Your neurofeedback approach remains the foundation of your practice. BRT offers an additional, practitioner-guided way to introduce a PEMF-based wellness and physiological regulation service. You decide if, when, and for whom it is appropriate. There is no required change to your neurofeedback protocols.
Different tools. Clear roles.
Why practitioners add BRT
- A second modality, no system change. Add a distinct service without asking clients to switch neurofeedback systems or protocols.
- Scheduling flexibility. Offer BRT before, after, or independently of a neurofeedback appointment.
- Supported implementation. A one-hour live consultation, onboarding video, training resources, and setup guidance.
- Portable, single-room operation. Nesta Pro runs in an existing therapy room. No dedicated treatment space required.
One service. Several ways to fit it in.
- Before neurofeedback: Schedule a separate BRT session before a usual neurofeedback appointment when appropriate for the client and your workflow.
- After neurofeedback: Keep the neurofeedback session unchanged and offer BRT as an optional additional service afterward.
- On another day: Offer BRT as a dedicated in-office appointment for clients interested in a separate regulation-oriented wellness service.
- Between regular visits: Consider periodic BRT appointments within a broader practitioner-directed plan, without changing the neurofeedback visit schedule.
These are scheduling models. No sequence is claimed to improve neurofeedback outcomes. Client suitability, safety screening, and professional scope remain the practitioner's responsibility.
A simple, practitioner-led experience.
- Review fit: Screen for safety considerations, confirm your scope of practice, and discuss the service with the client.
- Choose a program: Use training resources and professional judgment to select an appropriate Nesta Pro program.
- Run and document the session: Deliver the BRT session according to device instructions and your practice procedures; record relevant observations and follow-up.
What the research covers
BioReg publishes a graded research library covering PEMF, biofeedback and neurofeedback, including studies that found no benefit. Evidence is condition-specific rather than general. Each record states its study design, sample size, funding disclosure and grade.

Our current practitioner panel includes real-world integration examples from LENS practices. These perspectives illustrate how individual clinicians have approached the service; they are not a promise of results for other practitioners or clients.

Frequently asked questions
Is BRT another type of neurofeedback?
No. Neurofeedback and PEMF-based BRT are distinct approaches. Nesta Pro does not measure brainwaves or provide real-time EEG feedback. It delivers configurable PEMF programs.
Do I have to change how I provide neurofeedback?
No. You can keep your existing equipment, protocols, appointment structure, and clinical approach. BRT is an optional separate service.
Can BRT be offered alongside different neurofeedback methods?
The workflow can be considered by practices using a range of neurofeedback approaches. There is no required pairing or sequence, and BioReg does not claim that BRT improves the results of any neurofeedback method.
Does BRT need to happen before or after neurofeedback?
No specific order is required. A practitioner may schedule BRT before, after, or separately from neurofeedback when appropriate. These are operational options, not evidence that a particular sequence produces better results.
Do I need a separate treatment room or a new staff member?
Not necessarily. Nesta Pro is portable and can be used in an existing office or therapy room. Any delegation to staff should follow training, internal policies, supervision requirements, and applicable local rules.
What onboarding and support are available?
The current Nesta Pro offering includes an onboarding video and a one-hour live consultation, with practitioner resources for continued learning. BioReg can explain current ongoing support arrangements during your consultation.
Is Nesta Pro a biofeedback device?
No. Nesta Pro is an open-loop PEMF device: it does not measure physiology or use sensor readings to adjust its output. BioReg also offers other systems, such as CellCom, which combines PEMF delivery with body biofeedback.
Can I bill insurance for BRT sessions?
Do not assume a PEMF session is reimbursable. Any claim for a distinct professional service requires applicable coverage, accurate documentation, and guidance from a qualified coding professional. BioReg does not provide coding or billing advice.
Are there clients who should not use PEMF?
Yes. Review current device instructions, contraindications, and screening guidance before use. Consider implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, and other factors flagged by the manufacturer; obtain appropriate professional guidance when needed.
