Key Findings: 8-week study with 58 participants. Hamilton Depression Scale decreased from 20.6 to 12.6. Response rate 73.5%. T-PEMF induces low electric fields modifying brain oscillations. No serious side effects.

Pulsed electromagnetic field attenuated PTSD-induced failure of conditioned fear extinction. PMC. 2019.
Key Findings: Animal study showing PEMF-treated rats had significantly less freezing during extinction tests. Enhancement persisted 48 hours. PEMF combined with exposure therapy may facilitate extinction memory in PTSD. Enhanced hippocampal neurogenesis.
